For more information about taking private lessons for all levels of agility and/or obedience, drop me an email. Let’s talk about your goals, and if after talking you think we’re a fit we can set up a mutually-convenient time to work together.
I started training dogs in 1996 with my Labrador Retriever Cody “just for the fun of it.” It did not take long before I was hooked! I never dreamed at that time that his training would be the beginning of what has become my passion — Dog Sports!
Over the last two decades I have been an avid student of both agility and obedience, working privately and in seminars with many world and national champions and competitors. As a result, I have developed a tremendous understanding of dog training at the highest level of excellence and continue to stay abreast of the latest training techniques as the world of dog training evolves. My goal for handlers and their dogs is for them to build a strong relationship based on trust which will create a confident team that not only has fun but is able to perform with speed and accuracy.
I love to share my knowledge with my students, whether through classes, private lessons or seminars.
I have been blessed to have several dogs that have competed at regional and national events, earning Obedience Trail Championships (OTCH), Master Agility Championships (MACH) as well titles and placements in agility, obedience, field and dock diving. And yes, after all these years it’s still about having fun!
